TROY, N.Y. – Seton Health is proud to announce Sandra Sullivan-Smith, executive director of Seton Health at Schuyler Ridge has recently been awarded a Professional Certification by the American College of Health Care Administrators for her demonstration of commitment to high professional standards and providing the best quality care to consumers.
Certified Nursing Home Administrators must have two years of experience as an administrator, hold a current Nursing Home Administrator license and have completed 40 hours of continuing education in the two years prior to sitting for the certification exam. Certification must be renewed every five years to ensure continued competency.
Smith has over 20 years of experience in long-term care and joined Seton Health at Schuyler Ridge when the facility opened in 1994 as the Director of Social Work. She has served as the Executive Director since 2000. Smith holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Rose and a master’s degree from the University at Albany.
