Seton Health Hosting Insurance Enrollment Event for Uninsured Community Members

TROY, N.Y. – Over 50 million American are without health insurance. In an effort to help people without insurance, Seton Health is hosting an insurance enrollment event Friday, March 9, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at St. Mary’s Hospital, 1300 Massachusetts Ave., Troy in Conference Rooms A & B.

This event is free of charge. Anyone who does not have health insurance, or who has children without health insurance, is encouraged to attend. Insurance specialists will be available to discuss qualification for programs such as Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, Medicaid, Healthy New York, Cancer Services Program, Rensselaer Cares Prescription Assistance Program. Attendees are encouraged to bring proof of identity (driver’s license, green card, social security card), proof of residence (tax bill, rent receipt, utility bill) and proof of income (pay stub, award letter).
