Our Outpatient Diabetes Education Program helps children and adults manage their diabetes through individualized plans covering diet, education, medication, and prevention. The program is recognized by the American Diabetes Association (ADA). This endorsement means that the program has met the ADA's 10 national standards for diabetes self-management education programs.

In addition to one-on-one sessions, an exercise program and a free monthly adult support group are held at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy. Services are reimbursed by Medicare.
