The Childbirth Center at St. Mary's Hospital is a state-of-the-art birthing center offering women the opportunity to labor and deliver, and receive post-partum care and newborn care all in the same home-like room surrounded by those with whom they wish to share this most intimate experience. Rooms offer comfort, privacy and unlimited contact with baby for new parents.  

Amenities include whirlpool tubs, television, music lending library, aromatherapy, and more.

To offer the best possible care, the unit features a dedicated operating room, with an anesthesiologist available 24 hours a day. All Childbirth Center nurses are trained in both obstetrics and pediatrics, meaning one nursing team cares for both mother and baby.
